Maucotel’s approach to teaching is rooted in a commitment to both technical excellence and artistic expression, helping students to develop not only their skills but also their passion and creativity.
In addition to a flourishing performance and teaching career, Maucotel is also a rising conductor. He has served as the assistant conductor of the Florence Community Chorus and has been a guest conductor for the Starling Chamber Orchestra. His conducting work reflects a deep understanding of both orchestral and choral repertoire, and he continues to expand his skills in this area, with a particular focus on contemporary music and chamber ensembles.
